The God of the universe, the Maker of Heaven and Earth, the One Who has all power and dominion…He understands what is like to be human. He knows.
One of the greatest miracles of Christmas is not just thar God came near but that God became one of us. He didn’t just come close…He became flesh. One of the most incredibly loving aspects of our God is that He chose to walk among us, to identify with us, to truly understand us. He know what is like to be in a human body. He understands human emotions and feelings. He suffered rejection. He felt anger and frustration. He grieved. He felt tired. He agonized. He laughed. He traveled. He paid taxes. He understands being parented and having siblings. Our weaknesses are no stranger to Him!
HE KNOWS.
Whatever need you face today, whatever challenge or hardship or high or low…He knows.
Take time to read this scripture and let the miraculous love of God settle within you afresh!
“…we have a magnificent King-Priest, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who rose into the heavenly realm for us, and now sympathizes with us in our frailty. He understands humanity, for as a Man, our magnificent King-Priest was tempted in every way just as we are, and conquered sin. So now we come freely and boldly to where love is enthroned, to receive mercy’s kiss and discover the grace we urgently need to strengthen us in our time of weakness.” Hebrews 4:14-16 TPT
Come, once again this Christmas, and discover the grace we all so urgently need to strengthen us in our time of weakness…that grace is available to us. That Grace sympathizes with us. That Grace is seated on the throne today… so let us draw close, and approach the throne where Love reigns with awe and wonder… He knows our need!
Prayer: Lord, I come boldly to Your throne of grace today. You know exactly where I am at and what I am facing, not just because You are God, but because You were also man. Jesus, because of You, my weaknesses and needs are no stranger to You. I’m so grateful I can receive grace – the divine enabling and strength to change – from You. You know exactly how I feel and exactly what I need to conquer. I love You, Jesus. Amen.
